3.1 Paradoxical fun
Chapter Three is about playing with dialogues, and I love this because when I’m making up a dialogue, when I’m writing it out, or speaking it, when I’m stepping into a character or two, I’m stepping outside myself. I’m freeing myself.
And then surprises happen. I discover things about my characters, my guides, my message, my memories, whatever I’m working on.
Even better, I discover things about me, as a writer and as a person.
The paradox?
When I step outside myself to do dialogue play, I end up deeper inside myself.
